finally some relationship drama of my own.

Ok, so my school had a dinner show, in which a lot of the choruses both me and Jayme, a friend of mine, are in. So after the show, we all had to help clean up the chairs and tables. But while we are, a bunch of people around us try to convince us to go out! Except, it was in a complete Middle School pushing each other towards each other manner. So eventually we lose everybody and go off on our own.
As it turns out, practically everybody at school thinks the two of us should go out, especially because she recently broke up with Daniel. So I finally ask her, she pauses for a few seconds, and says "yes!" We hug, then go home after agreeing to try and not let it get passed around the school so quickly. (this was all on valentine's day btw)
So the next day at Subway (where I work) all day I continually think "holy shit, I'm actually going out with her!" and start looking forward to all kinds of things (seeing movies, that stuff), but eventually I start thinking "oh shit, what if we break up?" Well, I shouldn't have to worry about that right?
Wrong.
Later that night we're both helping out at a church dinner, and she's acting a little, well, distant. I finally got the phone back from my brother (we share the phone) which had been off since who-knows-when. I turn it on, and instantly get a slew of texts from her with stuff like "I can't do this right now," "I'm sorry, I just can't," and "I feel like a bitch for this." (she's not, don't worry.) So turns out she still hasn't gotten over Daniel, as they were actually going to get together again, but he changed his mind at the last second (this was also on Saturday, literally hours beforehand). Now she feels sad and upset because I guess she really wanted to do this, but just couldn't bear it right now (she said "maybe later.") I think it's ok for now, but she's been really upset with herself for saying yes, and later changing her mind. I understand completely, but she said she's feeling "everything." (sad, upset, horrible, angry maybe?) I'm gonna try and help her out somehow (hope I'm good at that.) I wonder if maybe we could try doing things as friends and see if anything happens.
But at the same time, I'm wondering "'Maybe later?' But when will that be?" I guess I'll just have to go with it and hope for the best for now.

FUCK

So speech team went to state, including both of my events (one act play and group mime). I thought we did pretty well, but when we checked who's going to all state on monday, my mime got nothing, and one act got "non-performing" (which is pretty much an "it was good, but you shouldn't do it again") It sucks because everybody thought we were gonna make it, mime especially. Though I am happy for Auriel, who's mime did get in. Although thinking about it, this means I get All-State recognition without having to actually do anything again...besides taping it one more time. (we should put it on youtube or something) However, the taping will probably be tommorow after the show, which I was planning on hanging out with Auriel Galen and Dani! Hope I can get done with that early.
All for now, gotta go to band (again, since I missed too many games and have to make them up)

Oh boy.

So one of my female friends has a problem. One of my guy friends (who is her friend as well) has taken a liking to her. Problem: she just wants to be friends, and nothing more. Unfortunately, he really seems to like her. So much so that he's blogged a bit about her. (which there's nothing wrong with. What else are you gonna blog about besides personal life?) But today, she had a bit of a "breakdown," I guess would be the best word. She felt really weird about the whole thing so she went to the school councelor to ask for some advice. The councelor decided to take "action," I guess. So she got called down to the office, and it turns out they found his blog, and now the school seems to think he's stalking her, and asked if she needs them to take more action. So now things got really awkward between the two, and they barely talk now. I really hope things start to look up though. I've gotta go to band now, she might be there. Hope she doesn't kill me for writing this. (not that I used any names)

One line ramblings

I'm bored.

I have "Andy. You're a Star" by The Killers stuck in my head.

This is like the third time I've tried to write this post.

I think Samm might be mad at me.

Auriel seems to be avoiding me like a radioactive pineapple.

Nobody texts me anymore. All I ever do is twitter.

I wonder if our band will ever be able to actually play a full song.

I wish I had internet rather than having to go to the library all the time.

I smell like subway.

Hope mime goes well tonight.

I'm getting booted off my computer.

Belated Holidays!

Yeah, I should update a bit more. So for my holiday (which happens to be Christmas) the thing I got that stood out above everything else happens to be this thing:

In case you're wondering, his name (his actual factory name) is Clocky! And yes, he is an alarm clock with wheels. All I can say though is that it works! Very well! I woke up, chased it down, and when I turned it off, my first thought was "holy crap, I'm awake." Plus I got a tiny universal remote keychain. Turning off a tv at wal-mart that someone's watching is so fun.
All for now.
One last comment: Clocky looks a bit like Pintsize from QC!

Two posts in less than an hour...

Not usually one to post twice in one day, but I posted some new art on Deviantart! This one I thought of while sitting in Chemistry:

and this one, which I am a bit more proud of:

(wish I could have colored the Zune, but it was too small to do easily)
That's all for now. I'm gonna go get a Whopper.

Cool Things

Ok, so my friends showed me this great comic called Questionable Content. (not porn, don't worry.) Basically, well, I can't exactly explain the plot. Wikipedia describes it as a "slice of life" comic. Read a few pages, and you'll understand. Plus they talk about a lot of great bands, such as Mogwai, which is now one of my favorite bands. (Scottish, Post-Rock, what's better than that?) So much so that I bought their newest CD in Des Moines, along with a Dandy Warhols CD. Something just feels amazing about actually owning the CD, rather than having an invisible piece of data that you don't "actually own." With all that said, go read it, and go hear them! Do these things I say!

(now if only someone read this that didn't already read QC)
